ABOUT TEXANS HOCKEY ACADEMY

THA offers over 20% more ice than any other academy in town with two sheets of ice during the school year (105+ hours). At our host venue, NYTEX Sports Centre, we offer a dedicated Video Room, Student Learning center for studying, and three conference rooms for player meetings. Attendees will get an advantage off the ice as our coaches will present video sessions to learn the game. Included will be classroom instruction which consists of learning new systems. Under the leadership of Coach Wildfong, THA has a talented team of coaches including instruction for goaltenders by NAHL goalies.

The academy hosts both a full semester (Sep-May 26 weeks) and a winter mini semester (Jan-May for 12 weeks). In addition, there will be opportunities to participate in elite tournaments during the spring and summer months.

The off campus PE credit has been authorized for the following ISDs: Southlake, West Lake, Northwest, Denton County, Birdville, Grapevine/Colleyville, Flower Mound, Marcus, Coppell, Arlington, Fort Worth, Lake Worth, and Arlington.

 

Dates off: Labor Day Week, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Break Dec 15-Jan 8th, MLK Week, President’s Day week, Easter Week and Spring Break.
